ASML at the DEX Talk Show

Thomas Rondeel will take a seat at the talk show table on behalf of ASML.

With his background in International Business Administration and also Information Management, Thomas first worked at more consultancy focussed jobs. Later on, he started working at ASML in 2019 as Project & Portfolio Manager, where he is now working as the Team Lead Business Intelligence.

You can see our ambition being translated into our projects. We advise some of the largest municipalities in the Netherlands and housing corporations. One example is our work for the municipality of Amsterdam. To help them with their new ground lease system, we made calculations, tools and used our smartest data to crack this puzzle and help the municipality. For many of our projects, we developed different kinds of dashboards. One example is the development of a dashboard for all the real estate of the municipality of Rotterdam. By using different data (both from the municipality and external open sources) we were able to make an interactive dashboard. This allowed the government to compare their real estate with the set governmental goals. In this way, the municipality could see if and how their real estate was contributing to a better and more livable city. We advised over 100 of other municipalities and housing corporations to help them get insights on their real estate portfolio in a more easy, fun and quicker way. Republiq is a front-runner when it comes to using big data. We believe that the (real time availability) of data has started a new phase in the real estate sector. We now can make evidence-based decisions. Our tools and dashboards give more insights and contribute in making better decisions.

GOAL 3 at the DEX Talk Show

Bart Bierling will take a seat at the talk show table on behalf of GOAL 3.

Bart studied Industrial Design at the Eindhoven University of Technology. From this third year of studies on, he has been doing research at the neonatal intensive care in Veldhoven. Here he tested a new sensor for monitoring breathing and movement, which showed to work well. This formed the basis for his bachelor thesis: developing a patient monitor for low-resource settings, using this new sensor.

From this bachelor thesis, start-up GOAL 3 was formed when multiple experienced clinicians in African countries addressed their willingness to help the start-up.

Healthcare for everyone

GOAL 3 develops durable and easy to use patient monitoring systems for environments with limited resources. Through predictive algorithms we enable health workers to detect acute illnesses when they can still be treated.

About Underlined

Underlined enables companies to use data-driven insights to improve their customer experience. The in-house developed software platform for continuously automated customer insights is part of their customer experience management program at companies such as ABN AMRO Bank, Vattenfall and De Volksbank. Underlined is located in Den Bosch and consists of a team of young and enthusiastic data scientists and consultants.

Joost has been part of the Itility team since 2017. With a study background in Artificial Intelligence, various roles in a research environment, and later various management roles, he understands the technical details and the value that needs to be delivered.  

He is passionate about shaping and delivering valuable solutions to complex problems in high-tech and innovative environments, using his extensive knowledge about industry 4.0, systems thinking, digital transformation, and advanced data & analytics.
